Royston A. Fernandes is a seasoned Marine Construction and Offshore Projects Specialist with over 13 years of experience delivering complex marine, offshore, and heavy-lift construction projects across the MENA region. Throughout his career, he has successfully served leading oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, and offshore engineering companies, earning a reputation for operational excellence, safety leadership, and project execution.

Royston possesses extensive expertise in fabrication management, vessel and rig overhauls, ballasting and deballasting operations, rig load-outs, heavy marine transportation, and offshore construction activities. His portfolio includes significant involvement in wind carrier construction projects and the construction of jack-up drilling rigs, where he has overseen critical phases of planning, execution, and commissioning.

Known for his hands-on leadership and technical proficiency, Royston has consistently delivered projects on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. He has extensive hands-on experience supervising the loading, stowage, securing, and transportation of heavy lift cargo, steel products, industrial structures, oversized equipment, and yachts.

Leveraging his operational expertise and practical knowledge of vessel operations, cargo handling, and maritime safety, he ensures cargo is loaded safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international standards. His experience working with ship owners, charterers, port authorities, and logistics providers enables seamless execution of complex cargo movements while minimizing risks and operational delays.

Responsible for conducting inspections, surveys, measurements, and assessments at project sites, vessels, terminals, warehouses, and industrial facilities to verify compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

He collects and analyzes survey data, prepares detailed reports and documentation, monitors operational activities, identifies defects or non-conformities, and provides technical recommendations to ensure quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency while maintaining professional communication with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Responsible for carrying out inspections, surveys, measurements, and technical assessments across project sites, vessels, terminals, warehouses, and industrial facilities to ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
